Tom Burke (22) is currently Senior Policy and Change Officer at the Children's Rights Alliance for England - the worlds largest children's rights alliance. He is a director of youth-led UK social enterprise 'Voices for Change' and a trustee of international education charity Peace Child International. He has written articles of children's human rights and their participation in decision making and vocal advocate for youth-led development. His interests lay in youth policy, gender perspectives and poverty analysis.

Burke works on Peace Child’s “Be the Change” Challenge, a youth-led sustainable development Action Programme related to the Millennium Development Goals which aims to empower young people around the world to "be the change they want to see in the world" (Mahatma Gandhi). They have over 300 projects currently waiting to be funded. All these projects are devised, directed and delivered by young people under 25 - with the support of adult mentors.
