Tary Sawiris, an Egyptian national, has just graduated from Cairo American College and is off to the University of Chicago to study Economics. She joined the Model United Nations Club, as General Assembly President directing 130 delegates in the CACMUN 2006 conference and won the CACMUN “Most Outstanding President Award”. Other conferences she participated in are The Hague International Model United Nations Youth Assembly 2005 and the The Hague International Model United Nations Conference 2006. Tary has been involved in her school serving as Class Representative, and a student voice on the Reach Committee. She is a past volunteer at the UNDP Luxor centre. Her work and involvement have led her to become a member of the National Honour Society.
