As the President of the e-World Wide Group, Salma is using her experience and contacts to leverage best practices to help promote business and technology development all over the developing countries to bridge the digital divide and gender divide in a practical
manner to help improve the “Quality of life” for marginalized people all over the region. Salma is currently working on her PhD in “ICT4D”: Poverty Alleviation and Gender Empowerment through Income Generation in a Muslim Society to Prevent Radicalization” at Royal Holloway University of London. Salma is also a fully certified Quality Management System lead auditor and a certified lead auditor for Information Security Management.
