Mr. Mubarak, an Egyptian national, is the Chairman of the Future Generation Foundation—an NGO dedicated to job training—and is the Secretary General of the Policy Committee at the National Democratic Party. He received his B.A. in Business Administration and MBA from the American University in Cairo. He worked for the Bank of America at its Cairo and London branches, becoming one of its executives. Mr. Mubarak is also the Chairman of Medinvest Associates Ltd., which manages a private equity fund and does corporate finance consultancy work. He is also an honorary member of Rotary clubs, which was awarded to him by Rotary International President Frank Devlyn.
