Ms. Gressani, an Italian national, is the World Bank’s Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa region. She is a holder of a Ph.D. degree in Economics from University of Pennsylvania, United States, and she received her Master of Science in Economics from London School of Economics, England. Ms. Gressani has a wide regional and international experience as prior to her current position, she served as the Country Director of the World Bank’s Office in Warsaw, and was the Strategy and Operations Director at the World Bank’s Latin American Regional Office
