Ashok is a Nepali native. Ashok Regmi joined the International Youth Foundation as the Global Program Manager for YouthActionNet in May 2002. This is a program that invests in the power and promise of young people to create positive change. Through its global and national-level fellowship programs, customized trainings, dynamic website and peer-to-peer learning opportunities, it offers young change makers ideas, resources, and connections to like minds around the world. Ashok has advocated for youth engagement and leadership in various avenues such as Pan European World Summit on Information System meeting in Romania, USAID/EGAT conference in Washington DC , the United Nations, CIVICUS World Assemblies, Rotary International Meetings, Inter American Development Bank, and various other NGOs and INGOs. Ashok sits on the board of two organizations: a) LLC, a national organization of 200 leadership programs, 50 foundations, and 30 academic institutions in the United States, and b) “Pratisthapan”, an NGO based in Nepal .
